Focusing on You

 

Step 1 — Purchasing a Journal and a planner

The first step to begin to focus on you, and practice self care is to purchase a journal, and a planner. These two things are the most important tools necessary to your wellbeing. Try to practice writing almost every day to decompress, relieve stress, and help with anxiety. Planners help to set intention, and energy follows intention, that is the power in manifestation.

Step 2 — Creating a Vision Board

This is important to see what you inspire to. Some statistics:

People Who Write Down Their Goals Are 20% More Successful In Accomplishing Them Than Those Who Did Not.

Those Who Set Actionable Tasks For Their Goals And Initiate Weekly Progress Reporting To Their Supportive Peers Tend To Achieve 40% More Than Those Who Did Not.

This is why this is imperative for your journey for clarity, balance, and wellbeing.

Step 3 — Setting aside time to pray, meditate, and ground

This is an important step to getting back to you. It’s not about how much time, but the fact that you used some time. There are 24 hours in a day, and with you loaning it to significant others, bosses, clients, children, etc. , it’s imperative that you keep some for you too. Connect with your higher power no matter who it is. Wherever you get your strength from to help you keep going utilize that ALWAYS.

Step 4 — Prioritize setting intentions, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly

Setting intentions are about manifesting thoughts into the physical. Accomplishing tasks release a chemical in the brain called dopamine. It’s a feel good chemical that effects the reward system in the brain. Don’t you want to feel good doing the right things?
